Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Planner – Brisbane

Our Brisbane CBD office is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Planner to join the team.

Key Duties:

Reporting to the QS Manager, this is a great opportunity to develop a professional and challenging career as a senior consulting quantity surveyor, working with Australia’s leading commercial, retail, aged care, industrial and residential developers and financiers on projects across QLD and nationally.

Only candidates who possess a strong Australian based CV will be considered.

The role will see you involved in:

  • Cost planning
  • Feasibility studies
  • Cost estimates and cost management services
  • Bills of quantities
  • Contract administration
  • Financier services
  • Independent certifier / superintendent role

As an ambitious and professional candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Completion of AIQS/RICS full membership
  • CostX knowledge and experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team environment whilst achieving independent goals
  • Demonstrated experience working in a professional QS firm
  • Ability to develop strong professional client relationships
  • Strong interest in practical building processes
  • High level attention to detail
  • Current drivers license
