We are at the mid-point of the year and the increased demand for all of our services nationally, reflects a busy market place, both in the property and development markets.

Andrew Stewart has joined our Melbourne Quantity Surveying team as Associate Director.

Andrew began his career in the construction and property industry in 1996 and has experience in all facets of quantity surveying gaining experience both in the UK and Australia.
He has worked for international cost consultancies and large builder developers within Australia.

Andrew has substantial market experience across:

• project financier reporting;
• independent certifier of development agreements;
• estimating and cost planning;
• cost management and reporting;
• value engineering, and
• contract administration.

Lindsay commenced her quantity surveying training in the UK in 1995 and moved to Melbourne in 2004, where she joined Napier & Blakeley.

Nick Taylor has joined our Perth office as a Senior Associate.  Nick, who brings over 13 years of top tier international quantity surveying experience, moved to Perth from Dubai 7 years ago.

During the last 7 years he has developed an excellent understanding of the local Perth market based upon his experience in a broad cross section of projects in the region.

Starting his career in South Africa in 1990, Nick’s many years’ experience in both pre and post contract cost management, with key areas of expertise in cost planning, procurement and contract administration is a great addition to Napier & Blakeley.

Nick’s specialties include:

• estimating and cost planning;
• life cycle costing;
• bills of quantities;
• maintenance scheduling;
